Almond Butter Banana Smoothie

Today I’m sharing one of my NEW favorite smoothies! It is so yummy, you’d almost think it’s a dessert! But no worries, you can enjoy this smoothie completely guilt free! Seriously, this combo is so delicious & it also has a bit of a Fall feel to it! Oh yeah!

As stated on yesterday, this week I will be sharing recipes (not only smoothies) that will help with weight loss, & belly fat removal. My smoothie recipes can also be used as meal replacements. They will keep you fuller longer, & provide you with some extra added boost that your body needs! All of my smoothie recipes are quite simple. Who needs complicated….right? I sure don’t. So we’re going to keep it nutritious, delicious, & help you shed a couple pounds in between! I’m totally here for it!! Now let’s do this! Shall we?

Prep Time: 5 minutes


2 well ripened bananas, frozen

1 cup of unsweetened vanilla almond milk

2 tbsps of honey almond butter

1 tsp of chia seeds

1/2 tsp of cinnamon for topping (sprinkle & swirl)

Instructions: Blend all above ingredients until smooth! Top with your cinnamon & enjoy!

Nutritional Facts For Weight Loss:

Almond Butter– Contains healthy fats/fiber. Almond butter is slightly healthier than peanut butter because it has more vitamins, calcium, minerals, & fiber. Peanut butter has a little more protein than almond butter. 2 tbsps of almond butter has roughly 3.3 grams of fiber. Fiber also helps keep you fuller, maintain a healthy gut, as well as aids in the digestive system for bowel movements.

Almond Milk– Best milk for weight loss. One glass of almond milk contains 1/2 the calories found in fat-free skimmed milk. Almond milk is vegan. Almond milk contains the same amount of essentials as whole milk, but offers greater benefits.

Cinnamon– One of the healthiest spices on the planet. Cinnamon is loaded with powerful antioxidants. Cinnamon helps regulate your levels so that excess fat does not build up. It helps do this by controlling your insulin quantities as well as directly act on the blood sugar itself. Cinnamon can also speed up your metabolism, which can also help you burn more calories.
