What a better day to start a blog than that of Resurrection Sunday? This week has been a very challenging week for me. I was on spring break,  and decided to take a few extra days to take care of home and my family. Sometimes you need to just rest, relax, and rejuvenate, so I decided to do so.

Well, I’ve had a lot of quiet time to think, meditate, and focus on what’s really important. I’ve learned more in this past week, than ever before. What have I learned? Trust God! 2  simple words that I’ve known all alone, but needed a refresher coarse.  It’s so easy to get caught up in the madness of this world. Whew! And I’m going to just keep it real, I was really struggling with questions that I already knew the answers . Let me go a little deeper..

Sometimes the things that we suffer with the most, turns out to be the biggest blessings. We’re so focused on what ISN’T going right, that we lose insight of things that ARE right, and are right in front of us. Learn to trust God in the midst of chaos, when you don’t see a way out, or can’t figure it out. It’ll work out! If not, maybe God has different plans. When you can’t figure it out, he has already worked it out!

So, for this Super Sunday, which is Resurrection day, think of why he got up on that 3rd day! Rise above your small thoughts, and see the bigger picture. Trust that it is well. Trust is confidence and assurance that you know it’s already done. I trust him with my life, and all of the things that I don’t quite understand. God is able! These 2 words, “trust him”, is all I know to do. Trust that he is capable of doing what no one else can! Rest in him! You will rise above, and not fall beneath. So relax! He’s got you!
