This week I will be kicking off recipes that will help you in the aid of weight loss, as well as helping you rid of belly fat! I’m so very excited! No only that, these recipes will provide you with natural energy & nutrients that your body needs. As stated, this week I am focused on recipes that will provide you results in these 2 areas. Yay!! Are you ready?It’s always great to start your morning or week off with a smoothie. Smoothies are packed with fruits/veggies that will give you all of the things that your body requires to function a bit better, & help you feel better. But smoothies will not be the only source of recipes this week! Nope!! I will also be providing you with some yummy, light, nutritious, & filling recipes that will help you stay fuller longer. What does that mean? It means if you stay fuller, curb your appetite, therefore, you will reduce the urge of eating more.
Now, I decided to go with this delicious cherry lime smoothie to start the week off! And don’t worry, I’ll be providing you with some nutritional content of how each ingredient will help aid in weight loss. Are you with me? Good! This smoothie contains 5 ingredients! How easy is that? Just allow your blender to do all of the work! And you can enjoy the benefits of a super delicious smoothie! Here’s what you will need.
Prep Time: 5 minutes
1/2 cup of frozen pitted cherries
1 frozen banana
1-2 tbsps of chia seeds
1 cup of unsweetened vanilla almond milk
a little zest/ squeeze of juice from a fresh lime
Instructions: Blend all above ingredients until smooth. Drink & enjoy!!
