One thing I love is a good wrap! Why? They’re easy, quick, tasty, & healthy. It doesn’t take a whole lot of effort! And I love effortless meals! Yesterday I pretty much didn’t feel like preparing anything. I know, I know.. But yes, it was one of those days. Luckily, I ALWAYS have fresh vegetables & fruit on hand! Also, I try to keep some pre prepared cut up veggies in a tight sealable container. Makes the process even smoother & better! I purchased this small package of steak strips solely for days as this. I can just toss them in a skillet & allow them to cook in no time! Perfect for wraps! So this is what I did!
Cook Time: 30 minutes
Ingredients:
1 small package of steak strips
Olive oil cooking spray or extra virgin olive oil
1/2 of a small onion (sliced thin & longwise)
1/2 of a medium sized green bell pepper (sliced thin & longwise)
1 small Roma tomato
Mayo
Baby spinach
Shredded cheese (Mexican style)
Seasonings:
Pink Himalayan salt
Black pepper
A dash of accent
season to taste or whatever seasoning of choice
Preparation:
Once you’ve washed & seasoned your steak, take your olive oil cooking spray & lightly spray your skillet evenly. Allow to cook about 5 minutes, then add your bell peppers & onions. Cover with a top & let cook until meat is browned. Remove from heat/skillet. Once your steak is done, you can chop your steak or leave as is (I chopped mine a bit more fine for this recipe) but optional In a separate dish, place your steak on it, & sprinkle with cheese. Place in oven just enough time to allow your cheese to melt. Now, remove from oven!
-Time to prepare your wrap!
Take your mayo & spread on wrap. Now, add your steak w/melted cheese, onions, & bellpeppers. Lastly, add all of the above ingredients mentioned! Wrap & enjoy!!
