When I tell you that cauliflower is the “new meat” & one of the most upcoming vegetables that has been so underrated, it’s an understatement. Cauliflower has been around for ages, but why now? Lemme tell you… I’ve always been a fan of cauliflower. It can be eaten raw or cooked. It’s delicious! Cauliflower also has some serious health benefits! It can easily be described as a “super-food”. Cauliflower is so very versatile, & is now one of the most popular foods. Here’s some reasons why you may want to include cauliflower more often in your daily diet.

- Rich in vitamins and minerals. Cauliflower is also the cousin of broccoli!

- One serving of cauliflower contains about 77% of the daily recommended daily value of vitamin C. It’s also a good source of vitamin K, protein, magnesium, fiber, vitamin B6, & potassium.
Now that you’ve had a mini crash course on some of the AMAZING health benefits of cauliflower, let’s get into this dish! Shall we?
Ingredients:
1/2 of a Cauliflower head (feel free to use a whole head. I used what I had on hand at the time)
Seasonings:
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Turmeric
Smoked paprika
Accent
Jane’s krazy mixed up salt
Creole
Preparation:
Preheat your oven to 425 degrees. In a large bowl take your chopped/washed & dried cauliflower & generously drizzle in olive oil. Add about 3-4 shakes of turmeric (optional), 1 tbsp of smoked paprika, & other above seasonings. Massage all contents into the cauliflower. Place cauliflower onto cooking sheet & allow to cook until crisp. Enjoy!
Note: you can add any preferred seasoning of choice to make it your own!
